• SIX-SPEED SEQUENTIAL TRANSMISSION: With the new industry-exclusive six-speed Yamaha Auto Shift Technology, drivers can choose between three transmission modes through a new dash-mounted dial: AUTO—a fully automatic mode for more relaxed driving; SPORT AUTO—a more spirited, fully automatic mode that holds gears longer and shifts at higher RPMs; SPORT SHIFT—traditional manual sport shift offering drivers full control of shift-points through steering-column mounted paddle shifters. Additionally, a new 40% lower first gear improves low-speed performance, while the enhanced close-ratio gearing helps keep the engine in its optimal power band.
